INTRODUCTION
This manual provides safety and operating
instructions for the IO620-IDT621-NEW/ IO620-
IDT621-IS Integrated Dirt Trap that must be
followed to ensure safe operation and to keep the
equipment in a safe condition. This is designed to
be used with Druck pneumatic products such as
PV621, DPI611, DPI612 and DPI610E.
SAFETY
Warning
Make sure all connections are
correct and intact before
applying pressure.
Make sure that equipment is to
the correct pressure rating.
Observe the relevant health and
safety precautions.
Use only in the vertical position.
Do not attach to an external
pressure source
The manufacturer has designed this equipment to
be safe when operated using the procedures
detailed in this manual. The user must not use this
equipment for any other purpose than that stated.
Do not use the equipment if it appears to be
damaged (e.g. cracked). Contact Druck for further
assistance.
Use suitably qualified technicians and good
engineering practice for all procedures mentioned
in this sheet.
Pressure
Do not apply pressure greater than the maximum
safe working pressure, which is 35 bar / 3.5MPa /
508psi.
Pressure connections:
Bottom section of the IDT should connect to test
port provided in PV621/PV621-IS, DPI612,
DPI611, DPI610E-PC/SPC pressure base units.

Top section of the IDT should connect to AMC
quick-connect (for use with all AMC adaptor sets)
Media Compatibility:
Media compatible with 316L and 303 stainless
steels, Acrylic, Nitrile seals, PTFE. Examples
included demineralised water and mineral oil.
Usage instructions:
1. Fit the dirt trap to the test station of the
PV621/PV621-IS, DPI612, DPI611,
DPI610E-PC/SPC pressure base units.
2. If moisture or dust/dirt particles are
present within the chamber during the
operation, then follow the below
instructions to dismantle and clean the dirt
trap.
Cleaning instructions:
1. Make sure the pressure is fully released
from the instrument. Then remove the dirt
trap.
2. Unscrew the top section to release the
chamber.
Note: The chamber of IO620-IDT621-
NEW is made up of transparent PMMA
and chamber of IO620-IDT621-IS is made
of stainless steel.
3. Clean the components - do not use
solvents as this could damage the PMMA
chamber & seals.
4. Wipe & clean the chamber with a soft
cloth or tissue paper.
5. Re-assemble top section ensuring that all
seals are in the correct locations to hand
tight (approximately 1Nm torque).
