- Page 3 Using the chart below, determine an appropriate lubricant viscosity. Use only EP (extreme pressure) or API GL-5 designated lubricants. Change the lubricant after the first 50 hours of operation and at 500 hour intervals or annually thereafter, whichever comes first.
