    CHOOSING THE CORRECT SLING FOR YOUR PA TIENT Choosing the correct sling for a patient is not guess work and an appropriate and thorough risk assessment must take place. It should be notes that if an incorrectly sized sling is used, this can cause a severe accident and potential death.
