System requirements
• Mains power supply
• Drinking water installation
• Designed for a mains voltage of: 230 V / 50Hz
or 110 V / 60Hz without switch (with internal power supply)
• Factory preset rinsing time: 8 seconds
• Designed for a drinking water pressure of: 0.3 -10 ba
• Flow rate: 20 litres / min. at 3 bar line pressure
• Power consumption: 1.5 VA max.

3. Before the final installation
a) The water line must be installed in accordance with
DIN 1988 and professionally flushed after installation.
The filter sieve insert must then be cleaned.
b) The electrical installation must be carried
out by a qualified electrician.
c) Before starting any work, disconnect the
mains voltage until further notice
d) Before starting any work, shut off the
water supply until further notice
4. Cleaning the filter sieve insert
a) Observe the safety instructions for point 3
b) Screw in the slotted screw, this turns off the water supply
immediately before the solenoid valve, the hexagon socket
of the filter strainer insert becomes accessible
c) Dismantle the filter sieve insert with a 10 mm Allen key
d) Clean and refit the filter screen
5. Mounting the solenoid valve
a) Observe the safety instructions for point 3
b) Remove the red construction plug from the waterway
c) Screw in the solenoid valve without tools and hand-tight.
Attention: Do not tilt the thread!
d) Release the water supply at all shut-off devices and carry
out a leak test

b) Connect sensor cable to electronics box (blue to blue)

c) Connect solenoid valve to electronics box
(black to black)
Attention:
Observe reverse polarity protection in the plug connector!
d) Connect the mains connection cable of the electronics box
with connection sockets to the ends of the mains cable.
(brown to brown, black to black)
Attention:
Do not release the mains voltage yet!
e) Now initially only open the water supply at
the pre-shut-off screw of the shell set

7. Start-up and automatic calibration
a) Release the water section, set the flushing flow at the
adjusting screw beforehand, readjust if necessary.
b) Only now switch on the mains voltage.
c) The control unit now flushes several times in succession
to calibrate itself.
d) The urinal is ready for use 15 seconds after the last
calibration flush.
8. Function test
and first remedial measures
Now to test the urinal, hold, for instance, a non-insulated metal
part (wire or nail) in the water in the urinal. A few seconds after
you have removed the metal part, the system should flush.
If this test fails, first repeat the calibration by switching the
system for a few seconds without power using the fuse. After
re-connecting the power supply, the calibration flushes should
be performed.
9. Parameter settings
If the standard settings do not meet the requirements,
the settings can be changed by means of an Android app.
Request the app for Android mobile phones at
service@burda-online.com.
The following parameters can be set with the APP:

General note:
To maintain the odour trap in the siphon and to prevent stag-
gnation in the drinking water if the urinals are not used for
a longer period of time, a hygiene flush is triggered 24 hours
after the last use.
