4: Find items with the help of hundres of millions of friends
Find My network will help you to nd your belongings when they
are left behind. OptiTag will send out a secure bluetooth signal
that can be detected by nearby iOS devices in Find My Network
and send location of your tracker in the iCloud. You can then nd
your device on the Find My map. The whole process is
anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy. Its improved
e ciency helps to manage battery life and data usage.
5: Prevent unwanted tracking
To prevent unwanted tracking, when someone else's OptiTag is
seen travelling with your for a period of time, your iOS device will
nd it and send you an alert noti cation. If you cant nd this
device after a while, it will play a sound to help you nding it. If
someone next to you has a OptiTag device, as long as the device
is near the owner, you will not receive a noti cation.
6: Privacy protection
Only you can see where your OptiTag is. No location data or
location history is physically stored inside OptiTag.
Communication with Find My Networks is end-to-end encrypted
so that only the owner of the device has access to its location
data, and no one including Apple knows the identity or location
of any device that helped nd it.
1: Remove and install the battery ( CR2032 type )
Step 1: press down and twist the battery cover conterclockwise untill
the cover stops rotating.

2: Add OptiTag to Apple Find My
2.1 Add OptiTag with factory setting state
1 Update to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Turn on Bluetooth of
your phone then pull the battery protection plastic out of the OptiTag.
2 Open Apple Find My App, tap +, then tap Add Other Item, search for
OptiTag and follow the onscreen instructions.
2.2: Add OptiTag in other state
RESETTING
If OptiTag is not added to the Apple ID within 10 minutes, bluetooth
will stop transmitting to save power. You need to power on/o the
battery ve times ro reset the tracker again. Reset is successful when a
di erent power sound con rms it. Then your can start adding to Find
My again. Follow the same method as 2.1
ANOTHER DEVICE PAIRING
To connect OptiTag to a new Apple ID, rst remove it from Find My by
tapping on the items tab, tapping on the item OptiTag, scrolling down
to the bottom of the detail card and then tap Remove Item.
Now it can be added again following instructions 2.1.
7: Tips
• keep away from all heat and re sources, such as heating
equiment, heaters, ovens, ames and exposure to sunlight.
• Do not repair or disassemble the device by yourself
• Avoid use or storage in high humidity or temperature abover 60°
C, it may cause failure
• Dispose the product according to local government regulations
on waste disposal.

3: Operation instructions
3.1: Find the items in close range
To play sound function of the paired OptiTag, within short range of
the owner's Apple Device, you can click on the "play sound" in the
Find My app, or say "Hey Siri, Find my... (name given to the tag)" to
play the sound. The device will play sound to indicate the location.
Follow to sound to nd your object.
3.2 OptiTag is far from the owner
The owner can see the location of the lost OptiTag on Apple device,
open Find My, select objects and see on the map the positon of
OptiTag.
3.3 Lost Mode
Find things easier
OptiTag can be set as Lost Mode. Open "Find My" app, select the
connected OptiTag and click on Lost Mode. Follow the instruction on
the app, enter the phone number and complete the setting. In "Lost
Mode" you will get automatically a noti cation when it's detected by
other devices in the Find My network. If anybody nds your OptiTag,
they can contact you by following the instructions on Find My app.
People nearby can also identify the lost OptiTag, get contact info that
you have set in lost mode and send a message to the owner to help
nding the lost item.
