Initial Setup
Use this Initial setup guide to set the time and date. If the previously set parameters are unknown perform a hard reset. (See Page
4)
1. Turn on the power to the unit.
2. If the screen is flashing hold any button for two seconds.
3. Press the 'Menu' button.
4. To navigate the menu press 'UP' and 'DOWN'.
5. When at the '1. Set Time/Date' press 'SELECT'.
6. Press 'UP' or 'DOWN' to navigate then press 'SELECT' at desired screen to adjust the time or date.
7. Press 'UP' or 'Down' to cycle through numbers and 'SELECT' to confirm.
8. When both time and date have been set press
date and day of the week.
Home Screen
Under normal operation the unit should be left on the Home screen displaying the correct day, time and date.
Note: A dot in the bottom left corner indicates if the relay has switched unless the I/O timer is active.
Main Menu
Holding the 'Menu' Button for at least one second, at the Home screen, will access the main menu.
1. Set time/Date
Please refer to the initial set up to adjust the time or date. The unit will automatically display the correct day of the week, adjust
for summer/wintertime and adjust for leap years.
2. Set Programme
This function is used to switch the output relay at set times of day. There are 7 programmable timers allowing for a different on/off
pattern every day of the week. Each timer has up to 20 programmable times.
The programmes can be set to either:
Latch -
The relay will switch over and remain in the switched over position.
Pulse -
The relay will switch for a programmable time, up to a minute, then switch back.
The day on which each programme will switch the output relay can be programmed as:
All days -
Any times that are programmed will activate the output relay every day of the week.
Mon – Fri -
Any times that are programmed will activate the output relay Monday to Friday.
Custom -
Any times that are programmed will activate the output relay on group days selected in the custom group.
To programme a timer:
Pressing the Home button at any time in the setup will return the unit to the Home screen without saving any settings.
1. Press 'SELECT' at the '2. Set Programme' screen.
2. Use 'UP' and 'DOWN' to scroll through the programmes then press 'SELECT' to choose the programme you wish to set.
3. Press 'SELECT' to continue to set up the programme or press 'BACK' to clear the programme.
4. Press 'BACK' to set the output relay to pulse or press 'SELECT' to set the output relay to latch.
5. If pulse was selected, then enter how many seconds the output relay should switch for (up to 59).
6. Select the days the programme should activate the output on.
7. Press 'UP' for the time to switch the relay on or 'Down' to switch the relay off.
8. Enter the time for the relay to activate using 'UP' and 'Down' to scroll and 'SELECT' to confirm.
9. Once the time is confirmed, at the next screen press 'SELECT' to enter another time (up to 6 times can be programmed,
once the 6
th
is entered the unit will automatically revert to the main menu.) or press 'BACK' to finish, reverting to the main
menu.
10. Repeat this process for all the programmes being used.
