INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Boil Dry Protection
As a protection against overheating, this kettle is fitted with an automatic safety device that will automatically shut the unit off if there is
insufficient water in the kettle. Should this happen, unplug the unit and allow it to cool before refilling it with cold water.
To Clean
Always unplug the unit and remove from the power base before attempting to clean. Wipe the exterior of the kettle and power base
with a clean, soft and slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.
NEVER IMMERSE the kettle, cord or power base in water or any other liquid. The appliance power base cordless connector must always
be kept dry.
Inside
Depending on the nature of the water supply, the inside of the kettle may need to be descaled and cleaned regularly using
kettle cleaner / descalers that are available from supermarkets, chemists or other stores. Alternatively, the methods described below
may be used.
Note: The warranty will not cover kettles damaged by not descaling. Discolouration of the internal part of the kettle due to water
