Assembly and operation Step 1 Carefully open your Nautica boxes. We have provided white gloves in the Assorted Spares pack to help you keep the components of the parasol looking pristine and unmarked during assembly. In industrial and marine environments, cleaning is recommended at least every three months, preferably monthly. To maintain the smooth, satin silver finish for the life of your Nautica, we recommend you regularly wash the anodised components with a soft sponge and fresh water, especially when coated with salt residue from a day near sea spray or other pollutants. - Page 15 Care and maintenance Timber mast and boom The mast and boom should be washed periodically with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, followed by a fresh water rinse, then dried.
