Getting Started
1. Remove the plastic pull tab from the back of the scale to activate the batteries.
2. Remove the protective foam from underneath the weighing surface.
3. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
IMPORTANT: When you turn the scale on, it will briefly display all the icons on the screen
before settling at zero—including the low battery symbol. Don't worry; this doesn't mean
your battery is low. You will only need to replace the batteries if the low battery symbol
appears while you're weighing.
4. When the display shows 0, you can begin weighing.
5. To remove the weight of a brewer, mug, coffee grounds, etc., place the object(s) on the
weighing surface and press the T button to set the scale back to zero.
6. Pressing the U button changes the unit of measurement (g, ml, lb, lb/oz, oz, and fl.oz).
7. Press the start/stop button to start a timer, and, by default, the timer will count up by seconds
and minutes.
8. To pause/stop the timer, press the start/stop button as the timer is running.
9. To reset the timer, hold the start/stop button down until the timer's numbers return to zero.
0. To change the timer mode, so it counts down instead of up, hold the U button down until the
orange numbers start flashing.
1. Once the orange numbers are flashing, press the U button to switch between counting up and
counting down mode. After switching to counting down mode, press the start/stop button to
confirm that you want to enter that mode.
2. After entering counting down mode, the flashing digit will indicate which number you are
setting—starting with minutes and then going to seconds. Use the T button to increase the
value of the flashing digit, and use the power button to decrease the value of the flashing digit.
3. Press the start/stop button to confirm the value you selected and move to the next one.
4. After selecting the amount of time the scale will count down from, your scale will automatically
re-enter weighing mode.
5. Now you can use the counting down timer the same way the counting up timer would be used.
When your timer finishes counting down, the scale will beep.
