Use of “Adapter” cords with the RV shore power cord. All Newmar units are manufactured with either a 30 or 50 amp electrical breaker box and electrical system. A unit with a shore power cord that has 3 prongs on it has 30 amp service; if the shore power cord has 4 prongs, it has 50 amp service. -

The chassis batteries on your motorhome are installed and warranted by the chassis manufacturer. The house batteries on your motorhome are installed by Newmar Corporation, but warranted by the battery manufacturer. These batteries are used to operate the 12 volt items that are not a direct part of the chassis.
