1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Disconnect the wrench from the vehicle battery power before changing accessories, servicing or performing any maintenance.

Maintain the wrench in good condition (use an authorised service agent).

Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Non-authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

Keep the wrench clean for best and safest performance and regularly check moving parts for alignment.

If the vehicle cigarette lighter outlet is rated less than 10 amps, connect the wrench direct to the vehicle battery with the clips provided

having first ensured that the battery is 12 volt.
Avoid contact with battery acid.

Ensure the hand brake is on and that the vehicle will not move during work.

For best results, it is recommended to keep the vehicle engine running during use. This step will also avoid draining the battery. Ensure

vehicle emissions are extracted in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
Ensure the wrench forward/reverse switch on the back of the tool is set in the correct position before commencing work.

IMPORTANT! If wrench battery clips are cross-connected to battery, the wrench will operate in the opposite direction to switch setting.

Wear approved safety eye protection (standard spectacles are not adequate).

Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings, and other loose jewellery and contain long hair.

Locate wrench in a suitable working area, keep area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials. Ensure there is adequate lighting.

Account for all tools and parts used when you have finished working on a vehicle.

Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.

Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.

Avoid unintentional operation of the wrench.

DO NOT allow more than 8 further impacts after the nut or bolt appears tight. DO NOT overtighten the nut or bolt.

DO NOT pull the power cord from the battery or cigarette lighter outlet.

When not in use disconnect from the battery and store in a safe, dry, childproof area.

2. INTRODUCTION & CONTENT
This 1/2 sq. drive 12 volt DC tool uses inertial hammer action to develop a loosening torque of 250lb.ft., enough to loosen most wheel nuts/bolts,
and a tightening torque of 150lb.ft. Four metres of cable with cigarette lighter plug and battery clip adaptor allows easy access to all four
wheels from the engine-bay or dash-board. Features impact resistant casing with powerful LED light for night use and minimal
power draw. 5 impact grade sockets with Duometric socket coverage of 7 sizes are supplied. (Not intended for continuous professional use).
Kit comprises:
312V Impact Wrench, cable and lighter plug. 35 Sockets: 17mm, 19mm(3/4), 13/16, 21mm, 7/8(22mm).

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before removing a vehicle wheel ensure the vehicle handbrake is fully engaged. Jack the vehicle according to the manufacturers
recommendations and the jacking tool instructions. Once the vehicle is safely raised proceed to use the wrench as follows, ensuring all the safety
instructions of Section 1 are followed.
3.1.
Powering wrench through cigarette lighter socket.
3.1.1. Ensure the lighter rating is 12 volts and 10 amps or greater. If under 10 amps connect wrench directly to vehicle battery (see 3.2.).
The ignition may have to be On to energise the lighter socket.
3.2.
Powering wrench directly from battery.
3.2.1. Ensure the battery is rated at 12 volts.
3.2.2. Using battery clip adaptor connect the red clip to the positive terminal of the battery and the black clip to the negative terminal.
Note: if terminal connections are crossed wrench will operate in the opposite direction to that set by the forward/reverse switch.
