SAFETY CHECKLIST:
FIRE AND ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD
1. Unit must be electrically grounded.
2. Insert 3-prong plug on power cord directly into
matching grounded receptacle.
3. Do not use with an adapter.
4. Do not use with an extension cord.
5. Inspect power cord before use. Never operate with
damaged power cord.
WARNING
1. Keep wiring and motor dry.
2. Do not expose to rain, snow or water.
3. Do not operate in standing water.
4. If electrical components become wet, allow them to dry
completely before using.

SETUP
1. Press release button to extend the handle for transport.
See Fig. 1.
2. Twist the end latch, slide the recovery tank forward and lift
up. Set tank aside.
3. For plain water cleaning, add water to solution tank. DO
NOT add more than 2 gallons.
4. To use with a cleaning solution, pre-mix quality cleaning
product with water in a separate container. Pour mixed
solution into the solution tank. DO NOT add more than 2
gallons.
5. Replace recovery tank and twist the latch to lock it in
place.
6. Connect vacuum and solution hoses. (Slide brass ring
back to connect solution hose.)
7. Make sure both switches are OFF. Plug into available 15-
amp grounded outlet. DO NOT USE if ground plug is
broken.
CLEANING
1. Pretreat soiled area (optional). Apply spot cleaning or
other prespray solution directly and let it dwell on cleaning
surface per chemical label.
2. Rinse extraction. Rinse with plain water or rinse solution
and extract thoroughly.
