CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase of the most innovative and revolutionary commercial aeroponic
cloning system on the market!
Please read instructions for set up, standard operating procedures, maintenance /cleaning and long-term
storage before use. This will ensure proper usage, success, longevity and warranty compliance of the
EZ-CLONE Commercial Pro. A trouble shooting guide is provided in the back of the manual to give answers
to questions and solutions to problems that could possibly arise during the cloning process.
LIGHT TIMER
15 minutes ON/15 minutes OFF 24 hr. analog timer preset to run continuously. Separate
instructions are included for the use and adjustments of this timer. See instructions.
PUMP TIMER
Analog Cycle timer preset to run continuously. Adjustable in minutes ON and minutes OFF.
IMPORTANT: Do not tamper with timer unit switches protected by the plastic face plate.
Doing so may change "time off" in units of minutes to units of hours causing cloning failure.
ELECTRICAL BOX
Located at the base of the system in front of the outboard pump. Location of ON/OFF power
switch, power cord and electrical fuses. Average amperage draw = 5 amps when system is
fully powered.
POWER CORD AND RECEPTACLE
Located on the right side of the electrical box. 120V, 18-AWG.
ON/OFF POWER SWITCH
Located on the right side of the electrical box beneath the power cord receptacle and main
fuse. Restores or terminates power to the entire system.
THREADED FUSE KNOB FOR MOTOR
Located on the rear of the electrical box in front of the outboard motor. This fuse supplies
power to the motor.

  • Page 7: Standard Operating Procedures

EZ-CLONE and their team of well-seasoned staff have conducted countless hours of research and extensively tested the Commercial Pro to bring you a professional cloning work-horse with a plug and play set of parameters that should yield successful results with any strain your running. The following procedures and parameters have become standard in our daily testing and are recommended as startup guidelines for all users of the EZ-CLONE Commercial Pro.
  • Page 8 CLEAR REZ if there are organic or funky smells coming from your water or trays. You have set up your EZ-CLONE Commercial Pro, ran a system check, added CLEAR REZ and nutrients, adjusted pH and familiarized yourself with procedural parameters. It’s time to Clone like...
  • Page 9 Immediately after making your 45° cut, dip the base of your stem into your mini measure shot glass filled with EZ-CLONE ROOTING COMPOUND. Scrape of excess hormone on the inner lip of the shot glass. Leaving excess hormone on the cutting can hinder results and lead to rot. Since mini measure shot glasses are approximately 2 inches, the gel mark on the stem can be a good reference for what to leave below the cloning collar.

    • Fuse is blown- Check and replace fuse located under threaded fuse knob on the electrical box • Motor is burnt out- Call EZ-CLONE to assist in further trouble shooting and assist with replacing motor with a replacement if needed. *Being proactive and having a replacement motor on hand is highly recommended.
  • Page 14 • Reservoir water level is too high- The water level should rest just beneath the drainage ports that terminate into the reservoir. If these outlets are covered with water, back pressure may reduce the flow of drainage into the reservoir and lead to backed up drainage. Reduce water level if this occurs.
  • Page 15 • pH is erratically and consistently rising- This can occur when using RO water and nutrients with low buffering capacity. You can add 25% of tap water to the nutrient solution to add carbonate buffers to the water. Additionally, bacteria blooms and their biofilms will usually produce alkaline exudates to produce an environment more consistent to their liking.
  • Page 16 • Hormone was old, too excessive or wasn’t used- When it comes to hormones, use EZ-CLONE ROOTING COMPOUND and remember, less is more and fresh is best.
  • Page 17 • Excessive EC/ppm- Not only can excessive ppm burn and slow uptake of nutrient solution into plants, it can also slow root development of plants. • Mother/Donor plant is too old or too young- Review “Selecting a Healthy Donor Plant” above. Leaves are yellowing and dying •...
  • Page 18 • Bad cutting practices- Crushing the vascular system within the stem during cutting or exposing the end of your cut to excessive air exposure can be fatal to your fragile cutting. See “Cutting and Taking Clones” above. Roots are rotting •...
