Customize your control center
To choose the way notifications and quick settings are accessed, swipe
up from the home screen and tap
> Control center, then select an option:
» Classic style: Swipe down from the top of the screen to open quick
settings and notifications.
» Modern style: Swipe down from the top left side of the screen to
open notifications. Swipe down from the top right side of the
screen to open quick settings.
To allow access to quick settings and the notification drawer on your
lock screen, tap the switch next to Allow access to quick settings
and notification drawer on Lock screen to turn it on.
Set lock screen preferences
Choose a clock face, notification style, or add shortcuts on your lock
screen to make it personalized. You can also control the privacy of
your notifications, change display options, set up gestures and
haptics, and much more.
Find it: Swipe up from the home screen and tap
& lock screen > Lock screen
Or, swipe up from the home screen and tap the Moto folder >
Moto >
> Display > Lock screen.
» Customize lock screen: Customize your clock face, notification
style, and shortcuts on the lock screen. For more, see
lock
screen.
» Glance: Get your smart lock screen experience. Tap the switch next
to Enable Glance on Lockscreen to turn it on, and then you can
view news, sports and more from the lock screen.
Note: Glance will be automatically turned off when the
Notification style is List. Glance may not be available in all
models.
» Notifications: Control notifications on your lock screen.
• Wake screen for notification: Turn the screen on for a moment
when you receive a notification.
• Privacy: To show or hide notifications on your lock screen, select
Show all notifications on lock screen, Show sensitive content
only when unlocked, or Don't show notifications at all.
Note: To control the content of notifications on your lock screen,
swipe up from the home screen and tap
Notifications > Notifications on lock screen. Tap Show
