    IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. It contains important information for your safety as well as operating and maintenance advice. Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage through  improper use! Follow all warning notices on the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future use.
  • Page 4 If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable  for the power consumed by the appliance. Warning! During cleaning or operation do not immerse the  electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.

    INTENDED USE Use the appliance for cooking rice and keeping it warm after cooking. Do not use the appliance to cook soups or other dishes. Use the cooking pot supplied, do not use it with normal cooking pots. BEFORE FIRST USE Remove all packaging material.
  • Page 8 The markings represent the amount of water to be added in  relation to the amount of measuring cups rice to be cooked. If you add 4 measuring cups (10) rice in the cooking pot (3) fill water until the marking 4. For more or less rice fill water according to the markings into the cooking pot (3).
