SAFETY PRECAUTIONS The Safety Precautions are intended to prevent unexpected danger or harm by helping the user to use the product safely and for its intended purpose. WARNING If you ignore the warning message, you may be seriously injured or there is a possibility of accident or death.

    WARNING • Use only the power cord or AC adapter provided or approved by LG Electronics, Inc. If you use another power cord, make sure that it is certified by the national standards. If the power cable is faulty in any way, please contact the manufacturer or the nearest authorized service center for a replacement.

    Precautions for Cleaning the Product WARNING • Keep the product clean at all times. - If you don’t clean the unit for a long time and it becomes covered in dust, it can cause fire or product damage. • When you need to clean the inside of the product, you must contact the service center. - Otherwise, cleaning without support may cause a fire, electric shock, or damage to the product.

    Brief Description of Purpose and Operation of System The LSGA026-CK LED display system is designed for indoor use, where a high quality dynamic image is to be made visible to large numbers of people. The panel size is designed from the beginning according to end -user requirements.

  • Page 16 LED Display Module (LDM) The LSGA026-CK is equipped with four LED modules on the front. Each module is equipped with 9216 LEDs and related driver components. The signal input and power input are connected through plug-in connections.Figures 3 and 4 are showing the front and rear views of an LSGA026-CK LDM.

    Installation Guidelines The LSGA026-CK adopts different maintenance methods according to different scenarios, and corresponding modules and power boxes also have different disassembly methods. When disassembling the internal board of the power box, it is necessary to handle it gently to avoid external impact.
  • Page 18 3.Rotate the knob counterclockwise with your thumb to detach the end of the knob with an arrow from the cabinet. 4.Hold onto the handle of the module and prepare to push the module outwards. 5.Hold the handle of the module to push it out.
  • Page 19 6.Hold the module and take it out from the available space of the cabinet. 2) How to Maintain LDM (Front access) 1.Hold the handle of the suction tool and align its suction cup position to the surface of the module. Pull the suction tool to remove the module from the front of the cabinet.

    Power Cable Wiring AC Power An approved three-pole appliance coupler inside the panel connects to the AC supply. The AC power cable is then connected to the EMI filter and distributes to the power supply units. Each panel has an earth point for grounding.

    TROUBLESHOOTING LDM problems • When you find the panel is malfunctioning, you can replace it with the following procedure 1. Power off the panel and unplug the power cable; 2. Locate the problem LDM; 3. Dismount the problem LDM from the panel; (Refer to page 17 and 20) 4.
