Replacing the vacuum seal
WARNING
Risk of skin burns due to hot glassware.
u Let the evaporating flask cool down.
u Wear suitable protective gloves.
Precondition:
R The Rotavapor® is aerated to am-
bient pressure.
R The evaporating flask stopped ro-
tating.
u Move the rotary drive arm to base
position.
Remove the connections on the
u
condenser.
u Firmly hold the receiving flask.
u Release the ball joint clamp by
turning the wheel counter-clock-
wise.
u Remove the ball joint clamp.

u Remove the receiving flask.
u Remove the evaporating flask from
the vapor duct.
u Press the locking button.
u Firmly hold the vapor duct.
Turn the Combi-Clip clockwise until
u
the vapor duct is released.
u Remove the vapor duct.
Open the flange nut to release the
u
condenser.
u Remove the condenser.
