Operation Instructions
GETTING STARTED
1. Remove the battery door by slightly pressing the knob
upwards.
. Insert one new AAA size battery as per indication marked
on the battery compartment.
. Close the battery door.
. When the battery is inserted, all the segments of the
LCD will be shown
briefly before entering the radio
controlled time reception mode.
. The RC Clock will automatically start scanning for
the radio-controtied time signat after 10-seconds:—
Note:
If there is no display on the LCD after inserting the battery,
try to replace with a new battery or press RESET key by
using a metal wire. In some cases, you may not receive
a signal immediately. Due to atmospheric disturbances,
the best reception often occurs during nighttime.
FUNCTION KEYS
MODE
key:
Switch between Normal Time Mode and
Alarm Time Mode
In normal time mode or alarm time mode,
switch ALARM/SNOOZE function ON or
OFF. \n setting mode, step the setting
sequences.
In normal time mode, toggle between
Date/Month and Year display. In setting
mode, change the setting value.
Press it once to toggle between °C and
F° format. Press and hold it for 3 seconds
to receive the signal for reception testing.
Check the signal serengthe indicator in
the first 30 seconds.
If the signal
strength indicator is in acceptable signal
quality , fix the clock here. Otherwise,
place the clock in other position and
press the"°C/°F" button again. The
reception will be off automatically after
6-12 minutes.
SNOOZE / LIGHT bar: Turn on backlight and stop the alarm
sound when the bell rings.

SELECT THE TIME ZONE
Make sure the time zone
is already set to appropriate
location. The default time zone
is Pacific zone.
If you
following steps:
1. In the normal time mode, press the MODE key to enter
the alarm time mode.
2. Press the ADJUST key to change the time zone.
P=Pacific
M=Mountain
C=Central
E=Eastern
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME(DST)
The clock has been programmed to automatically switch
when daylight savings time is in effect . Your clock will
show 'DST' during the summer.
SIGNAL STRENGTH INDICATOR
The signal indicator displays signal strength in 3 levels.
Wave segment flashing means time signals are being
received. The signal quality could be classified into three
types:
XS
L
BS
Poor signal quality
Acceptable signal quality
Excellent signal quality
If the RC clock receives signal successfully,
a Sync-
time symbol ©
appears on LCD.
