A - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
A1 - OPERATING PRECAUTIONS
• Do not allow children to operate the product.
• When installing, take care not to damage pipes or electric cables
under the surface.
• Protect the product adequately if it is to be exposed to inclement
weather.
A2 - SERVICING AND CLEANING
• Never use abrasive or corrosive substances to clean the products.
• Simply use a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use aerosol sprays on the product as it could damage its
interior.
• Cut off power supply prior to any maintenance (fuse removed or
circuit breaker turned off).
A3 - RECYCLING
This logo denotes that devices no longer in use should not
be disposed of as household waste. They are likely to
contain hazardous substances that are dangerous to both
health and the environment. Return the equipment to your
local distributor or use the recycling collection service
provided by your local council.

INTRODUCTION
When connected to a Thomson doorplate, this electric strike plate allows
you to unlock access from the monitor or the handset of your Thomson
intercom. You can therefore authorise the opening of a door or side gate
at any time to let your guests in.

C - INSTALLATION
C1 - PREREQUISITES
Firstly check the space required for the electric strike plate and modify
your installation if necessary.
• Cut a hole in the door frame to house the electric strike plate.
• Check that the distance between the door and the electric strike plate
is between 3 and 5mm.

Note: when in closed door position, the stud of the strike plate must be
pressed in by the door bolt.
C2 - INSTALLATION
• Open the electric strike plate.
• The electric strike plate requires a 12V 800mA AC or DC power
supply.
• The use of a 0.75mm² cable is recommended for the power supply.
• The electric cable must be embedded in the door frame.
• When used with Thomson multi-home doorplates references 512280,
512582, 512283 or 512284, the doorplate must be equipped with the
modular transformer reference 512275.
• Attach the electric strike plate to your door frame using 6 countersunk
screws (not supplied), then close up the electric strike plate.
