    Danfoss PVEM valve. The Danfoss valve is also operated with on/off logic. The thruster output signal is calculated in the TI25, based on operational mode and heading information received over the Robnet2 network from other system units. Set-up from the control unit and malfunction in the thruster interface is communicated via Robnet2.

    Simrad TI25 Thruster Interface 3 INSTALLATION 3.1 Mechanical Mounting The TI25 should be installed inside a console or locker in convenient distance from the autopilot computer. The recommended cable P/N 22081145, to be ordered with the unit, has a length of 15 m (46’). The unit does not have controls that need to be adjusted during installation or use.

    Thruster setup is made on the autopilot and thruster on/off is also set from the autopilot. Kindly refer to the AP25 manual for detailed information. The TI25 can be connected in several ways to a thruster system. The connections are as follows: • ON-OFF switch (electrical relay system) •...

    To prevent thruster breakage, some thruster manufacturers have built in a delay to prevent a sudden change in the direction of command. TI25 also has a fixed delay of 1 second. Make sure the electrical connection is made without bypassing the manufacturers delay if that is longer than 1 second.

    Missing thruster response can therefore not be detected. In the unlike event of a failure in the TI25, observe the operation of the different LED’s according to the following table. Also check that voltage is present on the input Robnet plug.
