3. INSTALLATION OVERVIEW mini-split air conditioners include two 16.4 ft. (5m) lines, one for liquid refrigerant and ® one for gas refrigerant. A line set extension supports an additional 16.4 ft. 3.2 INSTALLATION STEPS NOTE: The ends of the tubing have protective covers on them to prevent any dirt or debris from coming in contact with the connections. Do not remove the protective covers until immediately before the connection is made.
