Activating the XACT Gen 4 Monitor with Pressure Sensor
This guide explains how to install and activate the XACT monitor (Generation 4) with pressure sensor.
Overview
XACT monitors are activated using the XACT Pro App available for both Apple and Android devices.
After installing the app you will be able to connect to the XACT monitor using a WiFi connection. Note
WiFi dongles are no longer needed as for Generation 4 monitors. The App connects to the monitor unit
using a WiFi connection provided by the monitor unit. After connecting, the App will detect the monitor
and sensor and guide you through installation and activation. This guide describes the steps.
What to do before you start
Verity that you have account on the XACT Monitoring system my.xactmonitoring.com. If you are not
sure if you have one or have questions please contact your XACT administrator or XACT Support.
Download and install the XACT Pro App. You will find this in the Apple App Store and the Google Play
Store. Use your login email address and password for my.xactmonitoring.com to sign into the app.
Note the app no longer requires an activation code.
Make sure that you have the supplied magnet to operate the monitor's magnetic switch.
Recommended to streamline the activation
Measure the tank dimensions for the activation process.
Determine a location name for the monitor.
Determine the reporting schedule for the monitor

    If the WiFi signal its lost during the activation process it is necessary to reset the WiFi signal and start the activation process again. You may notice the green Network indicator at the top of the XACT App changes to yellow indicating the signal is lost.
