3. Removal of the housing ass’y and switch cover ass’y (1) Loosen the two Tapping Screws (W/Flange) D3 x 12 [3] and remove the Switch Cover Ass’y [9] from Housing Ass’y [10]. (2) Loosen the Tapping Screw (W/Flange) D3 x 6 [8] and remove Slide Knob (A) [5], Washer [7], and Spring [4].

4. Disassembly of the plunger ass’y (1) Remove the Pin D6 [46] from the Gear Holder Ass’y [49]. Remove Plunger Holder (A) [39] from the plunger ass’y. (2) Loosen the two Seal Lock Hex. Socket Hd. Bolts M3 x 6 [26] and remove the Plunger Cover [25] and Plunger (A) [40].

5. Disassembly of the gear holder ass’y (1) Pull out Connecting Piece (A) [41] and Needle Bearing [42] from the Gear [43]. (2) Remove the Retaining Ring D7 [47] and Washer (A) [48] from the tip of the spindle. (3) Remove the Gear [43], Balance Weight [44], Orbital Cam [45], and Washer (A) [31] in this order. (4) Remove the Motor [12] press-fitted in the Gear Holder Ass’y [49].

6. Removal of the switch controller ass’y Remove the Switch Controller Ass’y [15] from the Motor [12] using a soldering iron. Fig. 6 [12] [15]...
Reassembly Perform reassembly by reversing the disassembly procedure. However, special attention should be given to the following items. 1. Mounting the change knob Mount Spring (C) [35] and Steel Ball 5/32 [52] to the inside of the Change Knob [53] as described below. (1) Apply grease (Nippeco SEP-3A) to the Steel Ball 5/32 [52], and then put the Steel Ball 5/32 [52] in the concave portion as shown in the figure below.
