Lifemax 2301 Operating Instructions

Thank you for purchasing a Lifemax Rechargeable LED Light.
Ideal for reading, hobbies and close work, this light can be set up as a desk light, floor light, spotlight, clip light
or torch. It features three colour temperatures ranging between 3,000K (warm white) and 5,000K (daylight) and
offers three brightness levels generating up to to 340 lumens of light.
Please take the time to read this document thoroughly to familiarise yourself with how the product works and
to ensure you get many years of use from this light.
Operating Instructions
Before set up please ensure you have identified all the components, as shown in figure 1. It is also
recommended that you fully charge the light unit on first use, as outlined below. When not mounted, the
Light Unit (2) can be used as a torch.

Charging the Light Unit
1. Connect the small end of the USB-C cable to the charging socket labelled DC 5V on the Light Unit (2) body.
2. Take care to align the plug at 90° to the charging socket and not the Light Unit (2) body, which is offset from
the charging port.
3. Plug the large end of the USB-C cable into a suitable USB socket or adapter.
4. The LED to the left of the charging socket will illuminate red while charging.
5. To prolong the battery life, charge the item regularly and at least once a month.
Controlling the Light Unit
1. All functions are controlled by a single touch-sensitive switch on the main body of the Light Unit (2).
2. A single press of the touch switch will turn the light on or off, and step through the three brightness levels.
3. A long press of the touch switch will step through the three colour temperature choices.
4. If the light suddenly turns off during operation, it is likely that the battery is depleted. Please follow the
Charging the Light Unit instructions above.
5. When storing the Light Unit (2) care should be taken to ensure the touch switch is not accidentally brushed,
causing the light to be left on during storage and the battery fully depleted.
