Please read this manual carefully prior to use of the Perfect Leg Stretcher and keep it for future reference. The Perfect Leg Stretcher administers similar techniques utilized in Physical Therapy. It performs a static or dynamic stretch that is controlled by the user. It is designed to increase the resting length of the hamstring, calf and opposite hip flexor muscles, thereby improving range of motion and flexibility. CARE & CAUTION Observe any and all instructional labels placed on the Perfect Leg Stretcher. Use the Perfect Leg Stretcher only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. 2. Only use on flat, level surfaces. Do not use the Perfect Leg Stretcher on wet surfaces. 3. Extreme caution should be taken when in use with or around children, invalids or pets. 4. Never use when sleepy or drowsy. - Page 5 As with all exercises, you should not experience more than transitory discomfort after using the Perfect Leg Stretcher. Pain that lasts longer may indicate the presence of inflammation and should be evaluated by your Physical Therapist or Physician before resuming use of the Perfect Leg Stretcher.

11. Insert the plug of the electrical cord from the base of the main unit into the enclosed electrical cord power supply. Then plug it into the wall. 12. The Perfect Leg Stretcher Wheel is an optional attachment for people who move the unit frequently. Remove end cap. May require use of a screwdriver to loosen the cap from the tube. - Page 9 POSITIONING & INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE STEP 1 Continued: If the maximum angle is set and the user is at or close to that angle and the user tries to reset the maximum angle for a value less than the value of the current angle, the buzzer will sound and the display will read LOWER LEG TO LESS THAN MAXIMUM ANGLE. This message will remain until the leg is lowered or the maximum angle setting is increased above the current angle. The maximum possible leg stretch angle is 105° When the leg is raised, and the angle hits the set maximum angle the tube will stop, and the buzzer will sound. If the lifting tube is moved down to the lowest position of 12° and stays there without moving for one minute the default maximum angle setting of 90° is reset. STEP 2: Sit on the pelvic cushion so that your hip aligns with the hip locator button on the main unit with your legs out straight. STEP 3: To set the correct leg length, release the lock knob. In a seated position, lift up and extend the telescoping tube so it aligns with the length of your straight leg. STRETCHING PROGRAM Press the LEG UP button until you feel a slight pulling associated with the lengthening of your hamstring and calf muscles, just before the point of discomfort. Stop when you’ve reached a firm lenghtening sensation. 2. Hold this position for 30 seconds. 3. If the stretch sensation is comfortable, you may enhance the muscle lengthening effects further by tightening your thigh muscles and flexing your foot towards your nose.
