Mains Input Before connecting the AC power cord to the Platina Stream, please make sure the Power Switch is in the OFF position. Switch it to the ON position after connecting the unit to the AC mains.
The menu enables you to customise the unit and optimise the interface with other equipment in your system. Platina Stream has 11 different menu pages. Press the MENU key on the remote to enter menu mode,and then press VOL- or VOL+ to navigate the different settings, confirm or access the sub menu.

Core Decode - this option is suitable for users connecting to a 3rd party external MQA renderer via SPDIF, up to a sample rate of 192kHz. Passthrough - this will bypass the MQA decoding stage in the Platina Stream and allow the full non-decoded signal to pass through the Platina Stream via the digital outputs.

This can be useful when connecting to an integrated amplifiers' AUX input, and therefore using the integrated amplifiers volume control. When set to ADJUSTABLE, the Platina Stream Volume control is used to adjust the level of the analogue output. This is required when connecting directly to a power amplifier.

Trigger Activate or deactivate the 12V trigger function of the Platina Stream. Language There are multiple different languages you can choose from to display your system so you can view information in your preferred language. Default language is English.

Standby The auto standby feature will by default put the unit into standby after 20 minutes of inactivity. This feature can be configured and set to 20 minutes, 60 minutes or Never.

Reset Reset the Platina Stream to the factory default settings. Info Displays the installed firmware version and current Wi-Fi RSSI value Info Wi-Fi RSSI clarification: The RSSI value is an indication of how well your 9000N can hear a signal from your access point or router.
Standby Mode After initial power on, the Platina Stream will be in 'Standby' mode and power indicator LED will be light up. To use the Platina Stream, press the 'Standby' button to wake it up. The power indicator LED will be off and the display will show the 'QUAD' welcome screen as the unit enters the operational mode.
Check that your wireless router offers WPS mode and there is a WPS button on your router. If your router supports WPS mode, short press the WPS button on the rear panel of the Platina Stream. Then press the WPS button on your router. After a few seconds, the Platina Stream will show a RED Wi-Fi icon to denote successful connection.

Long press the WPS button on the Platina Stream rear panel for 6 seconds. The unit display will show “Entering AP mode”. After a few seconds, it will update to “AP mode” to indicate AP mode is activated. Enter the Platina Stream APP and navigate to the settings (denoted by the cog icon). Navigate to the bottom of the settings menu and select “Wi-Fi setup”. Your smart device will search for the AP Hotspot.

Enter Wi-Fi password Connected After connect to internet, you can rename Platina Stream, check firmware version, Login Tidal/Spotify/Qobuz/TuneIn, turn on/off Ethernet LEDs and switch on/off Roon ready by Option in setup page. You can also setting do not check and update firmware automatically as you prefer. Default setting is always check firmware update automatically.
Insert your USB driver disk within supported track files to the USB-A which nearby the Ethernet port. Then you will find and pick Music Library in the setting page of APP. Storage library will be named as XXXXX USB Music Server (XXXX is your Platina Stream’s name). Support file format: FLAC, Apple Lossless (ALAC), WAV, AIFF, MQA, DSF, DSDIFF (DFF), DoP, MP3, ACC Drive specification Platina Stream is compatible with a variety of USB disks.

NAS/UPnP Connect your NAS (FAT32, exFAT or NTFS) to the same router of Platina Stream. NAS will be identified a Music Library. Then you can manage your music media by Roon APP or playing the tracks in NAS directly by Platina Stream. Support file format: FLAC, Apple Lossless (ALAC), WAV, AIFF, MQA, DSF, DSDIFF (DFF), DoP, MP3, ACC Browsing and sorting all the files by track name/album/artist/genre/time in the right-most page of Audiolab APP.
