Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure mit
Fachkenntnissen in der 100-V-Beschallungstech-
nik. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung vor der Instal-
lation gründlich durch und heben Sie sie für ein
späteres Nachlesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Wandlautsprecher mit 100-V-Übertrager ist
speziell für den Einsatz in ELA-Anlagen konzipiert, die
mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten. Die Auswahl der Leistung
erfolgt über einen Drehschalter. Der ESP-72 / WS ist als
2-Wege- System zusätzlich mit einem Hochtöner ausge-
stattet.
Ein Relais überbrückt bei Anlegen einer 24-V-Steuer-
spannung den Leistungswahlschalter zur Erreichung
der maximalen Leistung, sodass z. B. bei einem Notfall
eine Durchsage über den Lautsprecher in voller Laut-
stärke erfolgen kann. Der Lautsprecher ist ballwurf-
sicher nach DIN 18032, Teil 3.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Produkt entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien der
EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
•
Das Produkt ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbereich
geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser
sowie vor hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit. Der zulässige Ein-
satztemperaturbereich beträgt 0 – 40 °C.
•
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.
•
Wird das Produkt falsch verwendet, nicht sicher ins-
talliert oder nicht fachgerecht repa riert, kann keine
Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Perso-
nenschäden und keine Garantie für das Produkt über-
nommen werden.
Soll das Produkt endgültig aus dem Be-
trieb genommen werden, entsorgen Sie es
gemäß den örtlichen Vorschriften.
3 Installation
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche
Spannung bis 100 V an der Lautsprecher-
leitung an. Die Installation darf nur durch
Fachpersonal erfolgen.
1) Vor der Installation den Verstärker, an den der Laut-
sprecher angeschlossen werden soll, ausschalten!
2) Die vier seitlichen Schrauben herausdrehen und die
Rückwand abnehmen.
3) Die Anschlusskabel durch die Öffnung der Rück-
wand führen und die Rückwand mit geeignetem
Montagematerial (z. B. Schrauben, Dübel) an der
Wand oder Decke befestigen.
4) Die Anschlussklemmen „100 V LINE" des Lautspre-
chers mit dem 100-V-Ausgang des Verstärkers ver-
binden. Auf die gleiche Polung aller Lautsprecher
eines Beschallungsbereichs achten.
5) Bei Bedarf die Steuerleitung für das Pflichtempfangs-
relais an die Klemmen „24 VDC" anschließen.
6) Den Lautsprecher an der Rückwand festschrauben.
7) Den Drehschalter auf die gewünschte Leistung ein-
stellen. In der Position „OFF" ist der Lautsprecher
ausgeschaltet.
Die Summe der Leistungen aller angeschlossenen
Lautsprecher darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht
überschreiten. Eine Überlastung kann den Verstär-
ker beschädigen! Beachten Sie auch die maximale
Leistung des Lautsprechers bei aktiviertem Relais.
Falls gewünscht, gegen nachträgliches Verstellen den
Knopf gegen die beiliegende Schutzkappe tauschen.

These instructions are intended for installers with
specific knowledge of 100 V PA technology. Please
read the instructions carefully prior to installation
and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This wall speaker with 100 V transformer is specially de-
signed for applications in PA systems using 100 V tech-
nology. Power is selected via a rotary switch. As a
2-way system, ESP-72 / WS is additionally equipped with
a tweeter.
When a 24 V control voltage is applied, a relay will
bypass the power selector switch to achieve maximum
power. Thus, in the event of an emergency, for exam-
ple, an announcement can be made via the speaker at
maximum volume. The speaker is ball impact resistant
in accordance with DIN 18032, part 3.
2 Important Instructions for Use

The product is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water, splash water and high air
humidity. The admissible ambient temperature range
is 0 – 40 °C.
•
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
chemicals or water.
•
No guarantee claims for the product and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the product is not correctly
used, if it is not safely installed or not repaired in an
expert way.
If the product is to be put out of opera-
tion definitively, dispose of the product in
accordance with local regulations.
3 Installation
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a dangerous voltage of up
to 100 V at the speaker cable. Installation
must be made by skilled personnel only.
1) Before installing the speaker, switch off the ampli-
fier to which the speaker is to be connected!
2) Unscrew the four lateral screws and remove the rear
panel.
3) Guide the connection cables through the opening
in the rear panel and attach the rear panel to the
wall or ceiling using suitable mounting material
(e. g. screws, dowels) .
4) Connect the terminals "100 V LINE" of the speaker to
the 100 V output of the amplifier. Make sure that all
speakers of a speaker zone have the same polarity.
5) If required, connect the control line for the emer-
gency priority relay to the terminals "24 VDC".
6) Screw the speaker to the rear panel.
7) Set the rotary switch to the desired power rating. In
position "OFF", the speaker is switched off.
The total power of all speakers connected must
not exceed the amplifier power. Overload may
damage the amplifier! Also observe the maximum
power of the speaker when the relay is activated.
To prevent subsequent adjustment, the knob can be
replaced with the protective cap provided.

1 Possibilités d'utilisation
Ce haut-parleur mural avec transformateur 100 V est
spécialement conçu pour une utilisation dans des ins-
tallations de Public Adress fonctionnant en ligne 100 V.
La sélection de la puissance s'effectue via un sélecteur
rotatif. Comme système 2 voies, le ESP-72 / WS est en
plus doté d'un haut-parleur d'aigu.
En cas de présence d'une tension de commande de
24 V, un relais bridge le sélecteur de puissance pour at-
teindre la puissance maximale. Ainsi, en cas d'urgence
par exemple, une annonce peut être effectuée à plein
volume via le haut-parleur. Le haut-parleur est résistant
aux jets de ballons selon la norme DIN 18032, partie 3.
2 Conseils importants d'utilisation
Le produit répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de
l'Union Européenne et porte donc le symbole
•
Le produit n'est conçu que pour une utilisation en
intérieur. Protégez-le des éclaboussures, de tout type
de projections d'eau et d'une humidité élevée de l'air.
La température ambiante admissible est 0 – 40 °C.
•
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec
et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d'eau.
•
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dom-
mages matériels ou corporels résultants si le produit
est mal utilisé, n'est pas installé de manière sûre ou
n'est pas réparé par une personne qualifiée. En outre,
la garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque le produit est définitivement retiré
du service, éliminez-le conformément aux
directives locales.
3 Installation
AVERTISSEMENT Pendant le fonctionnement, une ten-
sion de contact dangereuse jusqu'à
100 V est présente au câble haut-
parleur. Seul un personnel qualifié
peut effectuer l'installation.
1) Avant l'installation, éteignez tout d'abord l'amplifi-
cateur auquel le haut-parleur doit être relié !
2) Dévissez les quatre vis latérales et retirez la paroi
arrière.
3) Faites passer les câbles de branchement via l'ouver-
ture de la paroi arrière et fixez la paroi arrière au
mur ou au plafond à l'aide des accessoires de mon-
tage adap tés (par exemple vis, chevilles).
4) Reliez les bornes « 100 V LINE » du haut-parleur à la
sortie 100 V de l'amplificateur. Veillez à ce que les
haut-parleurs de la même zone de sonorisation aient
la même polarité.
5) Si besoin, reliez le câble de commande pour le relais
d'annonce forcé aux bornes « 24 VDC ».
6) Vissez le haut-parleur à la paroi arrière.
7) Réglez le sélecteur rotatif sur la puissance souhaitée.
En position « OFF », le haut-parleur est éteint.
La somme des puissances de l'ensemble des haut-
parleurs reliés ne doit pas dépasser la puissance de
l'amplificateur. Une surcharge peut endommager
l'amplificateur ! Respectez aussi la puissance maxi-
male du haut-parleur lorsque le relais est activé.
Remplacez, si vous le souhaitez, le bouton par le
cache de protection livré pour éviter tout nouveau
réglage ultérieur.
