  • Page 2 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the DJ Scratch Cat Record Player™! Drop on a record and get ready to groove to the tunes! This retro inspired record player features five double-sided records showcasing jazz, techno, country, pop, and hip-hop songs and music. Dance with the kitty, slide the paw clicker and play music while you bop to the beats.

    NOTE This product is in Try-Me mode in the packaging. After opening the package, please turn the DJ Scratch Cat Record Player™ off then on again to proceed with normal play. Unlock the Packaging Locks Rotate the packaging lock 90 degrees counterclockwise.

    GETTING STARTED Battery Removal and Installation 1. Make sure the unit is turned Off. 2. Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover 3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.

    RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: • Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging. • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. PRODUCT FEATURES 1. On/Off Switch To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off Switch located on the back of the unit to the On position.
  • Page 6 4. Automatic Shut-Off To preserve battery life, the DJ Scratch Cat Record Player™ will automatically power down after approximately 70 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button, opening the Cover or moving the Player Arm.
  • Page 7 2. Kitty Button Press the Kitty Button when a record is activated on the turntable to hear the animal on record’s label identified. If there is no record on the turntable or the record is not activated, the kitty will say fun phrases.
