- Page 2 Opening the wheelchair Open the chair by tilting it to one side and pushing down on the seat rails. Lift push handles to the upright position so the half-folding back mechanism locks into place. Attach the footrests by aligning the holes on the footrest hanger with the pegs on the frame of the Wheelchair.
- Page 3 Parking brakes To apply the parking brakes, push the handle on the brake unit until locked in place. To release the brake, push the handle in the opposite direction. The brakes should always be applied when the wheelchair is stationary. Stepper tubes An attendant can use the stepper tube to raise the front castor (when mounting a kerb for example).
