    Perspiration, moisture, and condensation can harm the electronics. Therefore, do not use the TrueTrainer in damp areas or expose the product to water or moisture. Incorrect use and/or maintenance will void the warranty.

    Turn the rubber feet (b) until trainer is levelled. 2.2 INSTALL THE CASSETTE [ONLY TRUETRAINER 4.2] You can skip this step if you have a TrueTrainer 6.2 with a pre-installed cassette. To install an 11-speed cassette, place it on the hub and use a lockring tool (not included) to secure it.

MEASURE YOUR BIKE Depending on the distance between the rear-ends and thus the length of your axle, part S should be included. Measure the distance between your rear-ends by using the arrows on this page.

MEASURE YOUR BIKE Part S should be inside or outside your frame depending on the distance between the rear ends and, thus, the length of your axle. Measure the distance between your rear ends using the arrows on this page. For a 130mm axle, part S should be on the outside of the bike frame.

    Before you proceed, please download the TrueKinetix app and create a TrueAthletes account. Using the TrueKinetix app, you can connect the TrueTrainer with your WIFI network, configure virtual gears (if TrueTrainer 6.2 or 8.2), and view your training data. Scan the QR code below to download the TrueKinetix app from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) and create a TrueAthletes account.

    3.7 HOW TO SHUT DOWN THE TRUETRAINER The TrueTrainer can shut down manually and via the TrueKinetix app. MANUALLY Hold the power button until the TrueTrainer LEDS start flashing white, this should take approximately 3 seconds. USING THE TRUEKINETIX APP Navigate to the 'HOME' tab in the app and select 'SETUP' Select the 'Shutdown' device.

    3.8 HOW TO CONNECT AN EXTERNAL SCREEN USING HDMI (ONLY TRUETRAINER 8.2) The TrueTrainer 8.2 is equipped with an HDMI port, which allows you to connect an external monitor/TV to your TrueTrainer. Connect the TrueTrainer using an HDMI cable. The workout screen shows various metrics to track your performance and which gears you are in.

    Virtual Gears, you can simulate other gears without changing the cassette. The TrueTrainer compensates the resistance when shifting gears to simulate the 32- cog on a 25-cog. This feature is included in the TrueTrainer 6.2 and 8.2. 4.1 INSTALL PHYSICAL GEARS To ensure the virtual gears are applied correctly, the TrueTrainer needs to know what the physical gears of your road bike and cassette are.

    Select your newly added virtual crankset and cassette from the dropdown menu. Press 'SAVE' to apply your new virtual gearset to your TrueTrainer. You are set to go. Because the adjustments of virtual gears, it works best with consistent revolutions.

    The original warranty period is therefore never extended or renewed by replacement in the interim. When a fault arises this should be notified to TrueKinetix in writing as soon as possible, but not later than one month after it has been discovered.
