(VOC). The unit is designed to operate in a closed-loop fashion. The exhaust or clean air enters a cavity that is sealed from the external environment and exits that cavity back into the PACU2. The PACU2 is ideally suited for the continuous filtering and circulation of extremely clean, dry air (or nitrogen) in an optical cavity.

If the PACU2 is used in an open-loop system, the moisture trap should be monitored often and replaced if saturation has occurred, since the filter is removing moisture and particulate from the surrounding environment.

Lay the packing box on a flat surface and tear off the adhesive tape on the outside of the packing carton. Open the carton and take out the tubing. Take out the upper insert and the PACU2. Remove with care to protect the surface and prevent scratches. Take out the lower insert, open it and remove all attachments.
We recommend that the supply line tubing be a good-quality, low outgassing type. This kind of semi- flexible tube maintains high integrity with less cross- contamination. We use 0.18" ID x 1/4" OD, 1 MPa @ 20 °C low outgassing tubing throughout the unit, 4 m of which is included with the PACU2 package. •...

Pure Air Circulator Unit Chapter 5: Maintenance and Cleaning Be careful when opening the drawer to prevent the unit from tipping over. After replacing the filter, secure the clamps with new zip ties to avoid additional vibration and noise. 1. Pull up the handle lock on the front panel and pull outward to open the drawer (as shown in Figure 23). 2.
Replace PACU2F3 3. Once the drawer has been opened, you will have direct access to all three filters within the PACU2 system. Before any filters can be removed, you must disconnect all tubing from the filters by loosening the push-to- connect fittings connection.
