    Over view ACD-75242 V4 is a reliable and affordable product for disk backup solution. Please refer to figure-1 which is the front view of the Single+Bacup Disk. On the upper slot is the operation HDD while the lower one is the backup HDD, which will be configured to copy data from the upper operation HDD automatically or manually.

    Front view of ACD-75242 V4 RAID box: The LED indicators that are built in right-side of drive tray for indicating hard drive status. Please refer to below table for all status in details. When hearing the beeper sounds “bi-bi-bi”, please check the indicator status and react to the event immediately.

    If you intend to configure the SCSI channel to different ID number, please refer the table. And leave others setting as default if unnecessary. *The ID 15 usually reserved for SCSI host controller, please avoid using ID 15 for ACD-75242 V4 box for preventing the conflict.

    1. Slide hard drive into the disk tray firmly. 2. Mount the disk by screws from bottom of tray. Install ACD-75242 V4 into system 1. Follow the following instructions to establish the connection. 2. After fully configured RAID box. 3. Power down your host computer.

    ACD-75242 V4 power module connection Start using Single+Backup Disk 1. Power off system computer. 2. Insert source HDD into upper slot of Single+Backup Disk and keep lower slot empty. 3. Power on system computer. 4. After system boot up, it will recognize the Single+Backup Disk as a single disk.

    Configure auto back up schedule for Single+Backup Disk Please follow below instructions to download/ install and configure Storconn 1. Please access to AccuDual official website ( www.accudual.com.tw ). 2. Click on document download under tab of Technical support.
  • Page 11 3. Click on “GUI tools” to start downloading GUI tools to local folder. 1. Extracting installation file to local folder, then click on installation file to start installation Storconn.
  • Page 14 2. Follow the instructions given to finish installation, icon of Storconn will be shown on location you choose.
  • Page 15 3. Click on icon of Storconn to execute GUI tools, and detect the Single+Backup Disk attached via COM port.
  • Page 16 4. Find Storconn icon on tool bar and click on right button and choose “Schedule Setting “to enable “Schedule setup” page. 5. Click on” Sync Host Time” to synchronize RTC as host PC.
  • Page 17 6. On this function menu page, you are able to set the disk backup schedule as you prefered.
  • Page 18 7. Click on “Update” after all items are set properly to finish schedule setting, then click on tab of “Done” to quit function menu. 8. Click on” Exit” to quit Storconn.
