4. USING THE DEVICE The Savaria Touch Screen COP (Car Operating Panel) provides control for the operation of your home elevator for desired floor, door opening and alarm functions on the large glass screen. The Touch Screen COP is available for the Savaria Eclipse, Infinity and Zenith home elevators.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE In the event of a power failure, the elevator is equipped with a Battery Back-up system that allows you to lower the elevator from the inside of the cab. This will allow the Touchscreen COP to still be active. 1 Press any landing button below the floor where the elevator is located.

6. MAINTENANCE Cleaning The touchscreen COP is subject to wear and tear. Periodic cleaning of the Touchscreen will ensure optimal performance. DO NOT use any cleaning product anywhere on the entire unit that contain any amount of citrus, ammonia or petroleum. This includes Windex ® and most traditional glass cleaners, as well as many “natural”...

As the touchscreen COP is designed to require little maintenance, regular software updates are not required. In the case that there is a functional problem with the touchscreen, please contact your Authorized Savaria Dealer to request a software update or any changes.
