These instructions are intended to explain the basics of how to operate
this equipment. Please read them carefully.

Page 2: Power Source
Power source: The FRD1000R detector is powered by 4pc x type AA alkaline batteries. Open the rear compartment and fit four heavy duty batteries, observing correct polarity. Remove batteries for safe storage, if the detector is unused for more than a three-month period. - Page 3 Radio Pairing: Important note – the FRD1000R must be radio linked (paired) with the laser level to enable you to use either of the auto-alignment procedures. An FRE-203XR (2 generation) purchased with an FRD1000R will be pre- paired, prior to dispatch.
- Page 4 & right to find it, then locks on. This system is only available when using a Fukuda FRD1000R radio paired detector to an FRE-203XR (2 generation) laser level, over a range of up to 100m.
- Page 5 General Safety Advice: This is an accurate measuring device, so to give good service, look after it Prevent the FRD1000R from receiving severe knocks, bangs or vibration. Store the detector & its accessories in the supplied carry case. If wet, DRY before storing & keep in storage temperatures of 10 to 30*C.
