the top of the shoulders

Flatten the positioner
and mold a depression in
the positioner for the ear

Mold by firmly pushing
from the sides inward, filling
the gap between the
mattress and head/neck
Mold positioner away from the
face and any lines or tubes as
necessary. Mold the positioner
around the back of the head

DO:
Clean with hospital approved disinfectant
Mold the product away rom the back of
the head to offload the occiput
Use with a pillowcase
DON'T:
Fold the product around the patient's
ears/head
Use the product if it is punctured or not
holding its shape
Mold the positioner to
offload the occiput as
needed
