    Safety notes This car sound system is manufactured according to the state of the art and established safety guidelines. Even so, dangers may occur if you do not observe the safety notes in these instructions. These instructions are intended to familiarise you with the most important functions. Read these instructions carefully and completely before using this car sound system.

    Front Panel Controls Placing the device in operation Switching on/off with the POWER button To switch-on, touch the button. To switch-off, hold the button pressed for more than 2 seconds. Volume Adjusting the volume +to raise volume and – You can adjust the volume in steps from 0 (off) to 40 (maximum). Touch the button button to lower the volume.

    2. If you want to return to CarPlay mode, touch [CarPlay] on the main menu. How to use CarPlay CarPlay features and Siri voice control are specially designed for driving scenarios. It also works with your car’s controls. And the apps you want to use in the car have been reimagined, so you can use them while your eyes and hands stay where they belong.

    The unit will enter Android Auto mode automatically. Note: Some aftermarket cables do not work or work poorly. - Or – Connect via Bluetooth Establish Bluetooth connection between the car unit and your Google phone (refer to the previous chapter "Bluetooth mode").

    When Phone is connected, enable Google voice by steering wheel control. This function is only available on cars equipped with the equivalent key. Control with Voice Match, such as “Ok, Google”. Radio mode In the main menu, touch the “Radio” icon. The radio playback menu is displayed- Select memory bank.

    Phone mode Touch the BT Phone icon in the Home menu to change to the phone functions. If you connected a phone with the car sound system via Bluetooth®, the following menu appears. Call up records lists. Call up phone book. Call up the dial keypad menu.

    Bluetooth Audio mode Touch the BT Music icon in the Home Menu to change to the audio playback. In the main menu, touch on BT Phone. Audio playback via Bluetooth streaming If an audio streaming device is connected with the car sound system via Bluetooth®, you can play back the music via the car sound system and control the playback.

    Audio playback from USB The principles of the audio playback (MP3/WMA) from data carriers are identical for all sources. Select the Music source via the main menu. The device changes to the USB source and the playback starts. Progress Bar Sound effect Display the folder/file list.

    Sound Settings Balance/Fader You can adjust the volume distribution in the vehicle for all sources. Touch the icon in EQ menu. The menu for fader and balance is displayed. Touch the arrow buttons or drag the cursor to adjust fader and balance.

    HPF (High Pass Filter) Settings In the settings menu, you can adjust the basic settings for the different functions of the device to your requirements. In the main menu, touch the Settings icon. The settings menu is displayed. Open the submenus by touching the icons on the left. Video Driving Video: Allow videos to play on screen while the hand brake is disengaged (NOTE: check the relevant laws in your area).

    General Filter Audio File Size: Files saved on the connected USB drive that are smaller than the chosen minimum file size limit will be hidden. The options are no filter, >100kb, >300kb, >500kb, & >800kb. Key sound: Enable audible feedback, a tone will sound when an option or function on screen is touched. Link USB Devices, Auto Play Music: When a USB drive is connected, music saved on the drive will automatically start playing if this setting is enabled.

    Navigation Select a Navigation app from the available list. Key Light Set the color of the illuminated front panel controls or tap the light bulb icon to cycle each colour.

    Steering wheel controls (SWC) Control the system with the buttons on your steering wheel by programming the steering wheel control functions in this menu. A SWC adapter may be required for your vehicle (sold separately). Touch the function icon on the screen that you want to program. Hold the corresponding button on the steering wheel until a yellow tick icon appears.

    Upgrade & Reset Upgrade: Install software updates that are loaded on a connected USB drive. Reset network settings: Delete all saved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi pairings from the connections list. Reset apps: Reset all app settings back to factory default. Factory settings: Reset the system back to factory default. MCU reset: Reboot the system.

    Troubleshooting What appears to be trouble is not always serious. Please check the following points before calling a service center. Problem Cause Corrective action Unit fuse is blown. Replace with a new 15A fuse. Unit won’t power on Fuse in fuse box is blown. Replace fuse with correct rating.
