Assigning Mira Connect a Static IP Address
While Mira Connect works well with a DHCP server, there are applications where it is necessary to set a static IP address.
Setting a static IP address requires connecting the Mira Connect to WAN and requesting that Aveo Systems take the system out
of kiosk mode to allow local access to Android settings as described in this document.
Mira Connect Classic
To set a static IP address on Mira Connect Classic, follow
these steps.
Access Android Settings
Connect a wired Ethernet cable with PoE to Mira
Connect.
Once Aveo Systems has taken the Mira Connect
out of kiosk mode, swipe down twice from the top
of the screen and select the Android settings gear
icon (step 1).
Select Ethernet settings
Select More connection settings (step 2) and then
select Ethernet (step 3).
Temporarily disable Ethernet by unchecking the
box (step 4). Select Configure Ethernet device
(step 5).
Setting the Static IP Address
Select Static IP and enter the desired static IP
address, netmask, DNS address, and Default
