ProCraft Electric Chain Hoists Description ProCraft electric chain hoists are rugged, portable hoists that provide quick, precise lifting. The hoists are constructed of tough, but lightweight, die cast Aluminium alloy housings. ProCraft JTHH Parts and Operating Manual INSPECTIONS A planned inspection routine should be established for this hoist based upon frequency of use, se- verity of use, and environmental conditions. (Reference ASME Standard B30.16). Some inspections should be made frequently (daily to monthly) and others periodically (monthly to yearly). It is strongly recommended that an Inspection and Maintenance Check List be kept for each individual hoist. - Page 13 ProCraft JTHH Parts and Operating Manual CHAIN Chain is to be kept clean and lubricated. Visually check chain every time hoist is used. Hoist must not be operated when chain is twisted or kinked. An important phase of hoist maintenance is chain in- spection.
