The Kodak EasyShare M531 may say the internal memory is full even with a 256MB memory card inserted because the camera might not be recognizing the memory card. Possible reasons include:
1. The memory card may be corrupted and needs to be formatted in the camera. 2. The camera may not support the 256MB memory card, as it only supports SD or SDHC cards up to 32GB. 3. The camera may still be set to use internal memory instead of the memory card.
To fix this issue, try formatting the card in the camera or using another compatible SD or SDHC card.
