     The fan may only be operated if it is in a safe condition. This means that all protective and safety systems (e.g. electrical motor protection, safety screen and shatter guard, where fitted) are in place and fully functional and that the fan is integrated into the system as specified in the project.     Abnormal noises, uneven running and excessive motor current often indicate fan defects that must be remedied without delay. Contact the manufacturer if this occurs during the warranty period.     Repairs of explosion-proof fans must be carried out by the manufacturer or in consultation with the manufacturer. 7. Waste disposal MIETZSCH fans are built to last. Thus disposal issues only crop up after many years of operation. The individual components are not regarded as hazardous waste according to current legislation.
