Du skal sikre, at Melia sædet kan anvendes til cykel. Denne vejledning kan besvare de fleste
spørgsmål, alternativt tjek med din cykelbutik eller producent.
Producenten er ikke ansvarlig for skader som følge af manglende overholdelse af brugerve-
jledningen.
Monter Melia -børnesædet til højre (set fra sadlen).
Sørg for, at skruerne på monteringssættet er forsvarligt spændt. Kontroller dette regelmæs-
sigt.
Dette produkt er ikke egnet til brug i en bil eller andre køretøjer. Produktet egner sig udeluk-
kende til brug i ladcykler og cykeltrailere.
Sørg for optimal komfort og sikkerhed for dit barn. Kontroller at sædet ikke vipper fremad,
da dette kan medføre at barnet falder ud af sædet.
Monter sædet i henhold til beskrivelsen i produktmanualen. Kontroller regelmæssigt, at
barnet ikke er tungere end den tilladte maksimale vægt.
Dette produkt er godkendt til børn fra 7 måneder til maksimalt 18 måneder, med en maksi-
mal vægt på 25 kg.
Sørg for, at du og dit barn bærer en godkendt cykelhjelm under cykelturen, i lande eller
områder, hvor det er påkrævet. Kontroller før brug, om der er nationale love eller bestem-
melser om transport af et barn i en ladcykel eller cykeltrailer. Du kan også kontakte Melia
vedrørende dette.
Inden hver cykeltur skal du kontrollere, at Melia-sædet ikke forhindrer styring af cyklen.
Brug altid selen. Sørg for, at du har den tilrettet korrekt. Kontroller at selen ikke er løs eller
sidder fast.
Sørg for, at barnets tøj, sko, kropsdele eller legetøj ikke kommer i kontakt med cyklens
bevægelige dele, såsom hjul, kabler og sadelfjedre. Kontroller dette regelmæssigt, mens
barnet vokser op. Sørg for, at der ikke er skarpe genstande i barnets rækkevidde, f.eks.
flossede kabler.
Børn der sidder i barnesæde har ofte brug for varmere tøj end cyklisten. Det er klogt at
beskytte jer mod uventet regn, at tage vandtæt tøj på, eller anvende en kaleche.
Kontroller sædets temperatur før barnet sættes i stolen, specielt på varme, solrige dage.
Følg vaskeanvisningerne i betrækket inden rengøring. Lad betrækket tørre i åben luft for at
forhindre mug.
Foretag ikke ændringer på produktet. Cyklen kan opføre sig anderledes med et barn i sædet,
specielt når det gælder balance, styring og bremsning. Efterlad aldrig cyklen uden opsyn med
et barn i sædet. Efterlad aldrig barnet i sædet, når cyklen er parkeret.
Garanti
MELIA -garantien dækker fejl og skade på dit MELIA -produkt i 2 (to) år fra slutbrugerens
købsdato.
Hvis du køber direkte via MELIA, kan smådele, som du har mistet, og som gør det umuligt
at bruge Melia-produktet (sikkerhed), leveres frit til dig, selvom 2-års garantiperioden er
udløbet. Efter 2 år forbeholder Melia sig ret til at afregne forsendelsesomkostningerne.
MELIA -garantien dækker ikke reklamationer, der er resultatet af omstændigheder, som
MELIA ikke har kontrol over. Disse omstændigheder omfatter, men er ikke begrænset til,
fejlbrug, overbelastning, fejlagtig montering, eller at sædet ikke anvendes i overensstem-
melse med de skriftlige instruktioner, retningslinjer og sikkerhedsregler fra MELIA. Garantien
dækker desuden ikke skader på din ladcykel, cykeltrailer, andre køretøjer, personskade, samt
førerens eller andre personers ejendele.
MELIA forbeholder sig retten til:
1. Reparation af produkter, der falder ind under betingelserne i MELIA -garantien.
2. Udskiftning af produktet, hvis skaden eller defekten ikke kan repareres.
3. Tilbyde et sammenligneligt produkt med en tilsvarende værdi, eller refundere den betalte
pris, hvis vi ikke kan erstatte varen med den samme model.
Hvad skal man gøre?
1: udfyld reklamationsformularen.
2: rengør produktet, og fremskaf købskvitteringen.
3: aflever produktet sammen med ovenstående dokumenter til forhandleren, eller kontakt
MELIA, hvis du har købt det hos MELIA.
4: forhandleren indrapporterer kravet til MELIA kundeservice.
5: MELIA kundeservice behandler kravet og informerer MELIA -forhandleren om beslutnin-
gen.
Safety
Keep this manual in a safe place after you have assembled the Melia seat. You or other
users might need it in the future.
Make sure your bike is suitable for the Melia seat. If you have any questions, consult the
information provided with the
seat or check with your bike shop or manufacturer.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from non-compliance with the user
manual.
Mount the Melia seat on the right (viewed from the saddle).
Make sure that the screws of the mounting set are tight, and check this regularly.
This product is not suitable for use in a car or other vehicles other than cargo bikes,
bicycle trailers and childrenpush trolleys.
Ensure optimum comfort and safety for your child and check that the seat does not tilt
forward, which could cause the child to fall out.
Install the seat according to the description in the product manual. Regularly check that
the child is no heavier than the maximum weight allowed.
This product is approved for children from 7 months up to maximum 18 months, with a
maximum weight of 25 kg.
Make sure that you and your child wear an approved bicycle helmet during the cycle ride
in countries or regions where required. Check before use whether there are national laws
or regulations on the transport of a child in a cargo bike or bicycle trailer. You can also
contact Melia about this.
Before each bicycle ride, check that the Melia seat does not obstruct steering. Always use
the belt. Make sure you have it correctly fixed. Check if the belt is not loose or stuck.
Ensure that clothes, shoes, toys or body parts of the child do not come into contact
with moving parts of the bicycle, such as wheels, wiring and saddle springs. Check this
regularly as you go the child grows up. Make sure there are no sharp objects within reach
of the child, such as frayed cables.
The child in the seat often needs warmer clothing than the cyclist. It is wise to protect
both of you against unexpected rain to take water-resistant clothing or place a canopy.
Check the temperature of the seat before inserting the child, especially on hot, sunny
days.
Consult the washing instructions in the cover before cleaning. Allow the cover to dry in an
open space to prevent mold.
Do not change the product in any way. The bicycle can behave differently with a child
in the seat, especially when it comes to balance, steering and braking. Never leave the
bicycle unattended with a child in the seat. Never leave the child in the seat when the
bicycle is parked.
Guarantee
The MELIA warranty covers every defect and damage to your MELIA product for 2 (two)
years from the date of purchase by the original buyer.
If you buy directly through MELIA, small parts that you have lost and that make it impossible
to use the Melia product (safety) can be sent to the original buyer free of charge even if the
2-year period has expired. After 2 years you can pay the shipping costs if MELIA considers
it desirable.
The MELIA warranty does not cover defects that are the result of circumstances over
which MELIA has no control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to, misuse,
overloading, or inability to assemble, confirm, or use the product or accessory in accordance
with written instructions, guidelines, and safety rules from MELIA. The warranty also does not
cover damage to your cargo bike, bicycle trailer, pushtrolley or other vehicles and cargo of
the user, or to other persons and property.
MELIA reserves the right to:
1. Repair the item that falls under the terms of the MELIA warranty.
2. Replace the item if the damage or defect cannot be repaired.
3. Offer a comparable product with a comparable value, or refund the price paid, if we cannot
replace the item with the same model.
What to do?
1: complete the claim form
2: clean the product and look up the purchase receipt
3: bring the product together with the above documents to the dealer or contact MELIA if you
have purchased it from MELIA.
4: the dealer reports the claim to MELIA customer service
5: MELIA customer service processes the claim and informs the MELIA dealer about the
decision
Step 6: the dealer will contact you again.
