OPERATING MANUAL Preface The present operating instructions explain the handling of the device and the intended applications possible. This operating manual contains important information in order to be able to operate the device safely, properly and economically. Compliance with the information in this operating manual helps to avoid hazards, repair costs and downtime, as well as to increase the reliability and service life of the device.
1. PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES The radio remote control enables the mobile operation of all important functions of the LISSMAC UNICUT joint cutters. Due to the compact design and the simple operation, the remote control offers the best overview in difficult cuts or tight space conditions. This increases both the ergonomics for the user and the safety of the cutting process.
Use according to the operating instructions only. Immediately eliminate (have) faults that may impair safety! Intended use The LISSMAC Radio Remote Control Intended use includes following the operating manual and complying with the inspection and maintenance manual.
To the extent necessary or required by regulations, use personal protective equipment. Obey all safety information and warnings and keep them in legible condition. Replace safety and danger notices that are damaged or can no longer be read. In the event of safety-relevant changes to the device or its operating behaviour, stop the device immediately and label it accordingly.
1.4. Safety notices regarding the operating phases 1.4.1. Transport, assembly and installation The radio remote control must be deactivated during transport. 1.4.2. Commissioning Check the radio remote control for damage before commissioning. Keep a charged spare battery or batteries ready. Test the emergency stop button for smooth operation and function before each start of work.
The device may not be operated in case of damage. In this case, contact the company LISSMAC Maschinenbau GmbH for repair. If the device is not operated immediately after unpacking, it must be protected against humidity and dirt.

Battery A fully charged battery allows up to 12 hours of operation. The battery for the remote control must be replaced when the warning light on the top of the remote control flashes.

2.5. Receiver Unit • In the outdoor area, mount the device vertically with the cable outlet facing downwards only. • If the receiver is installed in a control cabinet, a remote antenna must be mounted. • The receiver housing should be protected by suitable measures against direct solar radiation (UV radiation).
2.6. Receiver connection In order to be able to use the radio remote control, it must be looped into the control panel. 4. SERVICING 4.1. Maintenance Cleaning Do not use any sharp cleaning equipment as they may damage the surface. Do not wash the device with a high-pressure cleaner. Do not use sharp objects for cleaning. Wipe the device with a damp cloth and, rub it dry, if necessary. Maintenance The device does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user.
5. WARRANTY The warranty for this device is 12 months. For wear parts, warranty is only given if the wear is not due to operational reasons. Wear parts are those parts that are subject to operational wear when the machine is used as intended. The wear time cannot be defined in a uniform manner, it differs according to the usage intensity.
