GENERAL INFORMATION
Window roller shutters provide solar shading and are not security equipment.
They can be used either open, closed or at an intermediate position for control-
ling incoming solar radiation.
The end user must read and observe these Operating and Maintenance Instruc-
tions before using the shutters for the first time.
OPERATION
Motorized operation
Shutters are operated using central or local wall-mounted or hand-held controls
with an Open / Close / Stop button. The operating functions of the controls are
described in the operating instructions for the controls.
Manual operation
The curtain is moved in the desired direction by hand. Impact buffers are in-
stalled as a rule at the beginning and end of the system. The curtain can be
locked in these impact buffers.

The window shutters meet the requirements of the wind classes indicated in the declaration of conformity and may re- main extended only up to the specified wind class. Window roller shutters provide solar shading and may not be used as security equipment.
