INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS AND SAFETY

wrong use of the device and/or that does not meet the safety
requirements and/or damages the device or bracket
The device is suitable for operation in Hazardous Area
(Zone 0) according to the label:
II 1 G Ex ia IIB T2 Ga
Operating temperature range: -20°C ≤ Ta ≤ +70°C.
ASSEMBLY TOOLS
For installation, you need two simple tools:
• cross-head screwdriver and flat-head screwdrive
• magnet
POSITIONING AND FIXING
The device must be properly fastened above the dial level
indicator of the tank, (see the procedure below).
It cannot be covered by snow or under water.
In case of installation in the manhole in iron and/or
underground, provide to select the external antenna
model and the external antenna must be place outside the
manhole >1 meter to the ground and/or not under show.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
The device can be installed on horizontal and vertical tanks;
the label of the package indicates the type of sensor set
in the device. In case of you need modify the setup take
contact with the Technical Support that provide remotely.
Follow these steps:
1. Remove both screws that secure level indicator and
replace the rear screw with a countersunk screw, with a
maximum outside diameter of the head of Ø6mm, leaving
it unscrewed by about 2mm.
2. Place the ZERO device by inserting it from the eyelets
input from the bottom and pushing it forward.
3. Permanently lock the device, repositioning the front
screw.
Not make holes in any part of the tank.
