Micro-Viewlock II consists of a package of only 67 x 32 x 10 mm (or a PCB of 50 x 30 x 7 mm). It has been designed for highly covert applications, such as body-worn video surveillance, or for integration within other video transmission equipment.

2.1 Identify whether the unit is an encoder and or a decoder. This is shown on the label on the base of the housed micro-Viewlock II unit or, in the case of a PCB, by the position DIP switch SW1-1 (see label or Figure 3 below).

4 Configuration It is possible to configure the micro-Viewlock II by setting internal DIP switches. Removing the base of the micro-Viewlock II unit exposes the switches and their location and functions as shown in Figure 4 below. SW1 Switch Settings...
5 LED Indicator. It is possible to attach a bi-colour LED to pins 5 and 6 of the I/O connector that indicates the status of the micro-Viewlock II unit. Please refer to Figure 5 and Figure 2 for connection information.

6 Operation with Ovation Systems’ Gemini Link Expander. Gemini is a video multiplexer system that allows up to 4 cameras to be transmitted over a single video link. It is possible to secure a Gemini encoded signal with micro-Viewlock II as shown in the diagram below.
