USING YOUR IMMERSION BLENDER
Before first use, wipe clean all parts and dry carefully. Refer to the CLEANING section.

Before attaching or detaching the blender shaft, always check to ensure the blender is unplugged. When blending, ensure that the Blender Body is not immersed in foods or liquids. Only the Blender Shaft should be immersed in foods or liquids.
Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than one minute. After one minute use, unplug and let the unit rest until it cools down before using it again.
USING THE BLENDING SHAFT
- Insert the blending shaft into the blender body and turn counter clock-wise to lock in place.
Use the line on the blender body and the icons on the blender shaft as a guide. - Place ingredients to be blended in a container tall enough to avoid splashing.

- Plug in the unit.
- Immerse the blending shaft so the ingredients cover the blades and then select the desired speed on the speed selection dial, as illustrated.
- Then press the POWER button and hold down to begin blending. Always immerse the blending shaft first, then press POWER to avoid splashing. Also take care when blending large quantities or when using deep containers to ensure that the blending body is not immersed in foods or liquids. Only the blending shaft should be immersed in foods or liquids.
- Slowly move the blender shaft up and down or in a circular motion to process foods evenly. To pause blending or when blending is complete, release the POWER button. For maximum speed, set the speed dial to HIGH and press the TURBO button instead of POWER.

- Unplug the blender and then detach the blender shaft. Refer to the CLEANING section for cleaning instructions.

- Always disconnect the appliance before cleaning it.
- Do not immerse the blender, power supply cord or plug into water or any other liquid.
- Do not wash any of the parts in automatic dishwasher.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
Before using for the first time, as well as after use each use, clean the appliance as follows:
Blender Body: Wipe exterior surface with a clean damp cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly. Never immerse in water or any other liquid.
Detachable Shaft: Detach the Blender Shaft from the Blender Body by turning clockwise. Then wash the Blender Shaft under running water. Take care to ensure that water does not enter the hollow shaft of the blender shaft. Dry throroughly.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put blender body in water or other liquid.
- This appliance should not be used by children and care should be taken when used near children.
- Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
- Avoid contacting moving parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact the manufacturer at their customer service telephone number for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
- Do not use outdoors
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter
- Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
- When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall container or make small quantities at time to reduce spillage.
- Keeps hands and utensils out of the container while blending to prevent the possibility of severe injury to persons or damage to the unit. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the unit is not running.
- Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
