    USING HEADPHONES • For private listening, connect a 3.5mm headphone (included) to the Headphone Input Port. Note: the speaker will be automatically disabled. • CAUTION: Listening at high volumes can cause hearing loss. OPERATING MODES USING THE CASSETTE PLAYER • RECORD - Press to record from the radio, microphone or external microphone.
  • Page 7 AUTOMATIC STOP FEATURE When the cassette deck is operating in play or record mode and the end of the tape is reached, the PLAY BUTTON (#13) will automatically release to stop the cassette. RECORDING AUDIO RECORDABLE CASSETTE TYPES Use only good quality cassettes (IEC TYPE 1) for making recordings. The device may be used to replay other types of cassettes, but it is unable to properly record on other types of cassettes.

Tapes with a playing time of 120 minutes (C-120) are not recommended because they contain thinner and longer tape that has a greater chance to malfunction and jam, which may damage the cassette mechanism.
