PHOENIX
For safety against accidental operation of the electric height
adjustment, the couch has been equipped with a locking
device.
The lockout box is installed in the couch frame on the lifting
column. It interrupts the complete power supply of the lifting
column and all operating elements.
Activation / deactivation is performed by inserting or pulling
the safety pin. When leaving the treatment room, secure your
couch by pulling the safety pin.
The height of the therapy couch is adjusted using one of the
double foot switches located on both sides.
The entire lying surface is raised or lowered with the help of
the motor drive. When the desired height is set, release the
switch. The motor only works during the permanent actuation
of the respective control element. The movement stops
automatically in the respective end positions.
In addition to the standard double foot switch on both sides,
the couch can also be optionally equipped with foot switches
on all four corners.
To raise or lower the lying surface, press one of the two
switches on one corner of the base with the tip of your foot.
Outer switch: Lift
Inner switch: lowering
The therapy couch must not be operated by unauthorised persons when unattended!
Children must always be supervised and are not allowed in the area of the therapy couch!
► Cleaning and care personnel must always be instructed in occupational safety.
DANGER!
► Moving parts - keep your distance when adjusting the position!
Warning.
► Make sure that no one gets trapped between the arm section, head section and floor when the therapy
couch is at a low height.
► For safety reasons, the electric motor is controlled via extra-low voltage so that no dangerous electrical
voltages occur at the switch and in the switch connection cable.
The lifting screw motor is designed for short-time operation. In case of strong and continuous overload, the
motor is automatically switched off by the integrated thermal fuse to prevent further damage. After approx. 20-
30 minutes the motor is ready for operation again!
When adjusting the lying surface with very heavy patients, the motor works more slowly than with light patients.
This condition is due to the design and does not represent faulty operation of the adjustment drive.
► Observe the maximum dynamic load capacity of the couch of:
200kg (139135, 139335, 109935)!
