IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:
![]()
Risk of burns! Do not touch the hotplates while the appliance is in operation and immediately after using it. The residual heat transferred from the bottom of the cookware to the hotplate could cause burns. Allow the appliance to fully cool down before cleaning, moving, or storing it.
![]()
Risk of electric burns! Do not put metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on the product.
![]()
Risk of electric shock! To ensure continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to properly grounded outlets only.
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against electrical shock do not immerse the product in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of an accessory not evaluated for use with this appliance may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not immerse in water.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to off, then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Do not cook on broken cooktop – If cook-top should break, cleaning solutions and spillovers may penetrate the broken cook-top and create a risk of electric shock.
- Clean cooktop with caution – If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot cooking area, be careful to avoid steam burn, some cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.
- A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
- If a long extension cord is used,
- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance; and
- The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
- When in use, beware of spattering hot oil. Do not bring your face close to the cookware.
- If oily smoke comes out from the oil in the pan, immediately switch off the appliance.
- Do not heat up empty cookware or overheat ingredients.
- Do not use the appliance on metal surfaces (for example, kitchen sink's drip off area).
- Keep a minimum distance of 6" (15 cm) between the product and other objects or walls.
