    Product Overview Installation Notes Footprint: The MP600 Media Player requires a clearance of 28.5 cm (11.22 in.) in width, 19.0 cm (7.48 in.) in depth, and 9 cm (3.54 in.) in height is recommended to properly install the unit. This accommodates the unit along with its associated cable connectivity and provides for proper ventilation.

    Installation Procedures Chapter 2: Safety Precautions To ensure the safe use of the NCR MP600 Media Player, observe the following precautions: • To avoid a possibility of electrical shock, be sure to connect the power cord to the Media Player before connecting it to the main power supply.

    2. Connect the display and communication cables. For I/O port identification, refer to Back Panel on page 6. 3. Connect one end of the power supply to the MP600 and the other end to the AC power source. Note: If the unit is powered over Ethernet, connect the cable that provides PoE.

    When the MP600 Media Player powers up, one of the following scenarios occurs: • The specific application version of the customer is automatically downloaded and installed.
